2. Correcting the source of the moisture
3. Developing a scope of work
4. Setting up proper containment
5. Safely removing and disposing of mold-contaminated materials (including insulation)
6. Sanitation and application of mold treatment ( This is a technical process which requires to create a fog in the attic with  Concrobium Mold Control to make sure no active mold will be left. Direct spray will not be effective in this process)
7. Mold Stain removal If needed and requested 
8. Reconstruction of the Attic as needed including:                                                                                                Attic air sealing - installation of vapour barrier -  installation of new roof vents -  installation of Baffles - installation of new bathroom vent pipes -  installation of new insulation to reach R60
9. Materials Sampling and Mold testing 

Vermiculite was regularly used for attic insulation until the 1970s. In some cases, the vermiculite was found to contain asbestos due to a contaminated vermiculite mine. Vermiculite testing may be important to you and your family for peace of mind.

Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral with excellent heat insulation, electrical insulation and fire retardant properties.

However, it is toxic. For the health and safety of your family and colleagues, you should remove all sources of these fibers from your home or workplace.

Air Sampling - Indoor air sampling and analysis will indicate if you have an asbestos problem and its severity.

Materials Sampling - Although not easy to identify,  Pro Home Insulation (A Division of Canada Green Insulation Inc.), will find the source of airborne fibers and confirm it with independent laboratory analysis.

Condition of the Problem - Removal is not always your best option, especially if the asbestos is not a source of airborne fibers.

A truck with a HEPA vacuum will be used to suck out all of the insulation in the attic. The suction hose is brought into the attic from any window or door which is the closest to the attic hatch and In the house, our technicians put up an enclosure in the room where the attic hatch is to ensure no cross contamination. The crew change into protective clothing behind the enclosure and then enter the attic to use the suction hose to remove the asbestos containing vermiculite.  Negative pressure will be created in the attic and room to ensure no cross contamination.
